我们老师布置了5篇短对话，现在才做了两篇，路边的好人帮做一下剩下的三个对话话题Topic 5: Science and Technology
Situation: A and B talk about recent development of science and technology and give examples of how this has influenced or is influencing people’s daily life.

Situation: A meets B who is on his / her way to a bank. They then begin their talk about money.
Topic 1: Advertisement
Situation: A and B are watching a movie on TV and suddenly advertisements are inserted in. They then begin their discussion about the Pros and Cons of advertising and consumers’ correct attitudes toward advertisement.

Topic 1: Advertisement
Situation: A and B are watching a movie on TV and suddenly advertisements are inserted in. They then begin their discussion about the Pros and Cons of advertising and consumers’ correct attitudes toward advertisement.

Topic 5:
A: Hey Tom, I just bought the new iphone.
B: Wow! It must be very expensive!
A: Actually it's not expensive at all, because of the promotion that the company is giving me, it only cost me $100!
B: Well, I guess the technology has developed rapidly recently.
A: Yes indeed. Before a cellphone could easily cost hundreds of dollars, and they would only have the functions of calling and texting. But look at how they have evolved until now! My phone has a camera, it can go online, and it can even scan barcodes!
B: I totally agree with you. I have been renewing my laptops very frequently, I have already bought 2 new laptops and it is not even the end of this year yet!
A: Speaking of new technology, I have just finished a video conference call with my co-workers and it felt like I was in the meeting room.
B: Haha, that must be mind-blowing!
A: Yea, tell me how can you live without these advanced technologies!
B: I really can't, take TV for example, I can't have my dinner without watching my favorite show on TV!
A: Yep, and I can't go to work without watching the morning news on TV.
B: By the way was the lenovo laptop on sales too?
A: Yep it was, but sorry I have to go now, please say hi for me to your wife in China.
B: Yes I will when I video chat with her on skype!
Topic 3:
A: Hey Jack, what are you up to?
B: Hey John, nothing much, just going to the bank to deposit my paycheck.
A: Oh cool, actually I'm going there too! It's almost the deadline to pay my son's tuition and I need to talk to my bank teller.
B: That must be frustrating, especially in a time of recession.
A: Yes indeed. Strange thing about money is that when you earn so much, then the next day treasury rates goes down, $100 becomes $90 dollars! And the living expense does not change at all!
B: I guess the government is not doing a great job saving our money, aren't they?
A: No they are not, I heard the new president had announced some new policies to stimulate the consumer spending index, but with all these depreciating bills, how are we possibly going to spend more?!
B: I know! I'm trying to get a promotion and the mortgage expense is always breaking the roof.
A: And the tuition is going up each year, I guess Obama is not running for president next year.
B: I would certainly not vote for him!
A: Same here!
B: Well, looks like the bank is right ahead, I will see you around.
A: See you, good luck with your promotion!
B: Thanks jack, good day.
Topic 1:
A: Oh no! There comes the commercials!!
B: Yea I hear you, the commercials are really annoying! Every time I try to watch my favorite TV shows or a sport event, a commercial just has to interrupt everything!
A: Sometimes I tried to enjoy some of the commercials, but it turned out that the commercials are not even entertaining anymore!
B: Speaking of commercials, have you seen the latest TV show "top 20 funniest commercials"?
A: No I haven't, what is it about?
B: It's a show that puts all of the funny commercials all together, it was actually the only time I actually enjoyed watching commercials.
A: I would love to see that show sometimes. But commercials generally are just too annoying to watch. Is there anything good about commercials?
B: Well, I hate commercials too, but there are indeed something good about a commercial. For example, a commercial may prevent you from looking at the TV screen constantly for a long time, therefore it is good for your eyes.
A: That is an interesting point, but other than that I really couldn't think of any pros for a commercials.
B: Well, you have to admit, sometimes a commercial can be really funny too, which is not that annoying compares to the boring ones.
A: I agree, how about the advertisements outside of TV? What do you think of them?
B: You meant the ones on billboards?
A: yes that could be one.
B: I don't really pay much attention to them.
A: Haha, I guess that is how most of the people think of them.
B: Oh the worldcup game is back!
A: Go Germany!!!
