Soon after she reported for work,she found herself faced with the toughest job she had ever taken.
这里面为什么用过去分词faced,而不是facing,这里有被动含义吗?

这个问题可以从两个方面来考虑
1）看一下face这个词,它是个及物动词,及物动词的定义就是后面直接可以加名词,代词等作为宾语.同时又有它的过去分词形式faced.明确了这两点,我们看一下例子
