We should never judge a person by his external appearance because this kind of discrimination will cause ugly people to lose confidence. In current social life, there is an unhealthy phenomenon that people often see ugly people with different eye or may even laugh at them. it is not only behaviors beyond politeness but a kind of discrimination which does harm to the development of harmonious society. they may be also intelligent people with contribution to our society, we have no reason to discriminate them just because of their external appearances.for example ，Lincoln, the most famous president in American history was regarded as an ugly man. When his rival accused him to be a “two-sided” person, Lincoln responded wisely “ If I have another face, why I use this one?” This is a joke from which we can find out the facts the people pay more attention to external appearances and tend to judge a person by his face, stature and clothes.
In conclusion, people should never judge a person through his appearance, it is the internal character that indeed merit our opinions.
