any other 不是加名词单数吗?这里为什么用复数eg. He's taller than any other student in my class.

Any man is OK.
这里两个any都是表示“任何”,且any 后面加的两个名词都可数,为什么一个用单数一个用复数

主要还是根据any的意思来决定的,而且主要区别就在比较级中

没问题,除了这本书,我没有任何其他的书
这里的any是任何,一些,若干的意思
He's taller than any other student in my class.
指任一的学生,他比我班里任一学生都高.主语是he,那么后面与之比较的要对应着用单数,也就是说用student
反例,用复数,再比如：The players of Inter Milian are strenger than any other players of South Korea,你看,前后对应比较的都是复数名词.
总结：比较级看主语,要主语同级比较,主语决定是否复数

Any man is OK.任何人都ok,这里强调的是我要任何一个人.
如果我说any men也没问题,没错.不过强调的是我要任何若干一些个人
再比如：any man of mine(我钟意的男人)
我锺意的男人只有一个,你不可能说我一种人有2个以上吧（一般不行）
所以,是情况而定,假如这个不在比较级中,那么记住any除了有“任何”的意思.还有“任何一个”的意思……
