The present Nationalist Government of China and Mr.Chiang Kai-shek
是美国人民忠诚的朋友
are faithful friends of the United States.
美国深知
The United States is cognizant that
现时中国国民政府为一党政府
the Nationalist government of China is a one-party government
并相信假如国民政府之基础如能更加扩大
and believes that peace,unity and democratic reform in China
容纳国内其他主要政治分子
can be furthered if the basis of this government
则中国和平 统一 民主的革新
is broadened to include
必能更进一步
other political elements in the country.
