英语作文,try to be a good listener

After today's CFM class, I feel really excited, because I have found a problem that I didn't notice before as a listener.
I always consider CFM as a practical & systematic course, via which I could go through and well organize the techniques that I learnt. Therefore, It can ultimately improve my communication skill. However, I had underestimated its power until I actively participated in class.
There is always blind side for everyone. It really takes luck to discover your own blind side through others. So when I find one, I feel really lucky and thankful. (Thanks for the lovely classmates who made me participating and give me objective advise.)
Here are some points to summarize what I learnt tonight:
1) Figure out the main purpose of the conversation on the talker's side, whether it's problem solving or just feeling sharing.
It's hard for me because I am not very good at reading emotions. So I hope there are some guide lines in the text book. haha~~
2) Hold back, do not jump to any suggestion unless you are required to.
Even though I have rich experience handling emotional problems of my friends (mostly post-traumatic syndrome of break-up,haha~), but I still feel it hard to just hearing what they say and sharing sympathy, without giving any advice.
I always tend to give advise to my friends because I do believe we should learn something through experience and has a perception that people come to you with question are seeking for a solution. However, it is proved to be wrong.
3) Understand more on the talker and what exactly the problem is.
Be a good listener is not just to follow the guideline of body language and style of communication. It also requires patience and control of thorough information.

It's the abundant suprises and inspiration in life that give us hopes & dreams to live on. We are all born to be imperfect and are always on the way to perfection. So hang on~
