Last Sunday,I went to visit Great Wall with my friends.It was a sunny day,which brought us good mood.There were many people around there,most of which are tourists from other places like us.Local people are friendly to us and were willingly to introduce the history and character of Great Wall.Food and tickets are all quite expensive as Great Wall is such a famous and popular sight.In a word,going to Great Wall is happy and relaxed.I hope to go there next time.

It was a sunny day today,my friends and I went to visit the Great Wall.We went there by bus.We started off at 8:00am,and arrived at 8:30.We saw a lot of people there,they are all excited.We followed the people and began to climb it.Soon we reached the top of it.We felt hungry and tired,and got some food to eat.The Great Wall is just like a huge dragon,lying on the hills.We had a good time today.
The Great Wall of China,also known in China as the Great Wall of 10,000,is an ancient Chinese fortification built from the end of the 14th century until the beginning of the 17th century,during the Ming Dynasty,in order to protect China from raids by the Mongols and Turkic tribes.It was preceded by several walls built since the 3rd century BC against the raids of nomadic tribes coming from areas now in modern day Mongolia and Manchuria.The Wall stretches over a formidable 6,350 km (3,946 miles),from Shanhai Pass on the Bohai Gulf in the east,at the limit between China proper and Manchuria,to Lop Nur in the southeastern portion of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
