The both charts showed us the data about American marriage and divorce rates during 1970 to2000,and described the marriage status of men and women in the US in 1970 and 2000.
It was clearly seen from the chart,there is 2.5 millions of marriages in 1970 and 1980.However,the divorces were 50% lower than marriages in 1970,following climbed about 0.4 millions in 1980.But the data both marriage and divorces were tend to deceased in 1990.As the similar as 1990,the number of marriages declined to 2 millions,and the divorces decreased to 1 million which was the half of the number of marriage.
On the other hand,over 69% people of adult American getting marry in 1970.the marriage status reduced to 59% in 2000.The never married adult of American is 55%,less than the married in 1970,following 5% increase in 2000.The widowed was not arrived 10% in 1970 and 2000.It was the similar trend by divorced which is only few percent in 1970 and raised 5% in 2000
