This article analyses the current situation of temple fair in China. The development of Dongyue Temple fair in Tai'an is illustrated. From the tourism development of Tai'an Dongyue Temple fair, the suggestions of Chinese temple fair tourism development is put forward. The writer first gives a brief introduction of the paper, and presents the current situation of the research object. The writer focuses on the case of Tai'an Dongyue Temple fair development. According to the analysis, the advantages and disadvantages of Tai'an Dongyue Temple fair tourism are illustrated. Finally, the writer give some suggestions. In order to finish this paper, the writer needs to use research methodology, such as literature review. The writer searched materials in library and from Internet.
Temple fair culture is the traditional culture in China. It is the condensed essence of folk culture and a complex social culture phenomenon. With lasting vitality, temple fair culture is always accompanying human development. It is influencing human's production and life activities. Taishan temple fair culture is one of the Chines temple fair culture sources. It is distinctive from other temple fair culture with its typical features. Taishan temple fair culture has experienced five development stages: 1) emergence in primitive times;2) Eastern Han Dynasty, Western Han Dynasty, and Wei and Jin Dynasty; 3) Tang Dynasty; 4) Song and Yuan Dynasty; 5) Ming and Qing Dynasty. Taishan temple fair culture tourism develops with its uniqueness in intension, development principles, development policies and development value.
This paper conducts systematic research in folk culture tourism with the case of Taishan temple fair culture. It puts forward suggestions of developing temple fair culture tourism in a systematic and scientific way, and tries to solve the problems in temple fair culture tourism development.
