英语牛人进,两道前后主语一样,省略be动词的题
先看NO.1：The soldiers would not give in though ( )
A.were captured
C.captured
解释说什么如果谓语动词语态不一样,则从句动词不能省略.
我的理解就是这道题前面是主动语态,后边（被）抓住,是被动语态,所以动词be不能省略.
但是又有一道题NO2：
The publisher will send you a specimen copy of their new book ______.
A.when it will be requested B.when they are requested
C.when requested D.when request it
这道题很容易排除AD.看BC,这道题前后主语一致吧,如果要根据NO.答案应该是when were request.因为send you是主动语态,request是被要求,符合NO.1的语法解释.
然后我的结论是,中国学英语的语法很蛋疼,有木有?有木有!
