The Quality of good neighbor
A wintry afternoon,walking aimlessly around the lawn which is in front of my house,I was feeling frustrated and depressed .Because of some misunderstanding between mom and I ,an arranged plan had fallen through.Even the prospect of go travelling failed to cheer me as it usually did.I walked there,without paying any attention to the surroundings.
“Hey,xiaocai,be careful,you nearly had missed a good chance to see a handsome man here.The sounds made me back to surroundings.It took me a long time to react these humorous words.I looked up and saw Uncle liu who lived downstairs standing closed.Then he smiled at me and asked:“what is troubling you?” I was surprised at his perceptiveness,and did not ready to tell him my bother.“ Come on,child,did you know that I had the magic power to guess anything?I knew you are hungry otherwise why are you stare the falling leaves for nearly five minutes.” He said .I feel ease at his joking,and then told him my trouble.During the talking,his sense of humor helped me solve the things.It was dark when we finished the talk.We have since become friends.
It was also at that time I began to reconsider my standard on a good vicinage .Once,uncle li did not a good neighbor on the list which was I made.Since that time,his name heads the list .What is more,to some degree,I understand a kind neighbor better
First and foremost,a good neighbor is someone who has a sense of humor.In our community,it is inevitable that some misunderstanding will happen between people who lived around.If one of the vicinage could deal with the problem with his sense of humor rather than to a quarrel,the effect will be far better.People takes pleasure in being friends with a humorous one,therefore,the truth also goes for neighborhood.From uncle liu ,I realized that being friends with such kind of people ,I learned to look the things with another side .
Besides the above-mentioned,another characteristic for good neighbor is that he gives his help in time.Take uncle liu for example,before our talking,he is not a kind-hearted person in my heart.It is seldom to see his good deeds.It was until after he helped me solve the problem that I had caught the idea:“giving help in time is more important than those trivial ones.”
A good neighbor need not be rich ; need not to be generous ; need not to be have a high society rank,what he need in my mind is someone who gain a sense of humor and when I need help that he will appears in time .
