The story is based on a family who run a farm in Devon who buys a hor se at auction,to help the farm.Their son Albert trains the horse how to d o the farm work.Albert is very close to the horse and names it Joey.Joe y the horse was given way by Albert's dad Ted to the army to fight for se cond battle of the Somme.Captain Nicholls said that he would look after the horse for Albert.The horse has travelled a long time all around the c ountry,visiting a family,other sides like the French side and more and got into their hearts.I have fully enjoyed this film I would encourage everyo ne to come and see War Horse!
