How Did the Kitten Die?
A small child was giving a bath to a thiny kitten in the garden. Anold lady passing by shid,"sonny,you shouldn'tbathe a kitty in cold water. He'll get sick and die."
But the oy went on with his job, barely listening to her.Two hours later.the lady was retruning when she saw the boy sitting on the ground and crying,with the dead kitten lying beside him.
"But Auntie,he didn't die because I washed him:he died when Iwas wringing him dry"

一个小孩在花园里给一只小猫洗澡。一位上了年纪的女士从旁边经过，说道：“小家伙，你不该在凉水中给小猫洗澡。他会生病的，甚至可能会死。”
可是，小男孩继续给小猫洗澡，几乎对那位女士置之不理。两个小时后，那位女士返回时，看见那个男孩坐在地上哭泣，小猫躺在他的身旁，死了。
“小家伙，我刚才不是告诉过你吗，如果你在凉水中给小猫洗澡，他会死的。”
“可是，阿姨，他不是因为我给他洗澡死的；当我把它拧干时，它就死了。”
