The three male characters are called Joey,Chandler,and Ross.Joey is an actor.He's very good-looking and quiet vain - but he's kind,too,and not really arrogant.He rarely gets any work as an actor,but he manages to stay optimistic.Chandler is a computer programmer.He's more sensible and thoughful than Joey.He's also more pessimistic - he expects things to go wrong for him,and they often do!Ross works in a museum.He's got a quiet and serious personality.He isn't really looking for excitement - having a familiar routine is more important.
The three female characters are called Monica,Rachel and Phoebe.Monica is Ross's younger sister.She's kind and hard-working,but not very self-confident.She likes cooking,and wants to have a career as a chef.Rachel is a very indipendent person.She tries severa different jobs,such as being a waitress and shop assistant.Phoebe is a singer,although she doesn't have a successful career in music.She's always honest - but sometimes quite tactless!
