”是现在分词做伴随状语吗?可是现在分词做伴随状语不是应该用逗号隔开的吗?如果不是伴随状语那是什么呢?

大部分情况下是有逗号隔开的,但并不是绝对.
如湖南省牛津高中英语模块四的教材中在谈论奥运会时有这样一句话:
