1、考察的知识点是平行结构,排除A；关于这道题不能用简洁度考虑,而是从句意上：B项是说想要工作,尊重,和他们自己的爱,而C项是说想要工作,被尊敬,被爱,意思更符合逻辑,所以选C
2、选A吧.B错在for是因为的意思,你自己翻译看看,逻辑上是不对的；C选项错在不能是was exsiting,正在存在.
3、这道题选B,考察的比较对象.简化句子：Someone taxes the environment at a rate many times that of someone in ...；C错的比较隐晦,到底错在哪里呢?它把一个人的tax rate和一个国家的tax rate 相比了,所以不对；A也是如此；而D是把tax rate和人相比,也不对.
4、这个你做题多了就会发现ETS喜欢用a fact/conclusion 之类的代替前文说过的事实,结论什么的.你看这个句子,BC错在指代不清,which指什么?it指什么?SAT语法不倾向于用which代替一句话；D,我们也一般不用doing做后置定语,因为setting的主语是courts还是fact不好说,如果D在setting之前加一个by那么就对了.

再答： 不好意思没说清楚，我指的正在存在意思就是过去正在存在，但是这是不符合逻辑的。我查了一下字典，existing有形容词的用法，表示“目前的”，这种解释句子不通；还有就是exist--存在---的现在分词形式。从中文的角度讲“存在”用正在进行时很别扭的。原句翻译：PE是一个传递邮件的精巧系统；但是在电报系统使它落伍之前只存在了很短的时间。你观察一下正确答案，be in existence 和 be existing哪个能表示存在的意思。这样能懂了吗？
